Ceramic Teaware Workshop
A hands-on workshop exploring the design, making and finishing of a ceramic teapot.
Spend two-sessions designing, building and refining your own teapot with matching pair of cups using stoneware clay.

Set out by design your proportions, then use the wheel to form the key parts of this functional object.
Then learn the process of joining all the elements of the teapot securely and refining the final form, including fitting the lid.

Dates
The workshop is held across 2x 3 hour sessions.
Workshop pair 1: Saturday 18th July + Saturday 25th July, 2:00-5:00pm.
Workshop pair 2: Tuesday 28th July + Thursday 30th July, 2:00-5:00pm.
Price
£180 per person
This includes all materials, glazing and firings.
Level
For those with prior experience of wheel throwing, with the ability to form a cylinder of a consistent thickness.
