Ceramic Teaware Workshop
A hands-on workshop exploring the design, making and finishing of a ceramic teapot.
Spend two-sessions designing, building and refining your teapot with matching pair of cups using stoneware clay.
Set out by design your proportions, then use the wheel to form the key parts of this functional object.
Then learn the process of joining all the elements of the teapot securely, refining the final form and fitting the lid.
Dates
The workshop is held across two 3 hour sessions.
Pair of upcoming dates available:
Saturday 10th October + Saturday 17th October, both 1:00-4:00pm.
Price
£180 per person
This includes all materials, glazing and firings.
Level
For those with prior experience of wheel throwing, with the ability to form a cylinder of a consistent thickness.
