About the open studio 

The idea for the open studio was conceived to meet the needs of people who simply need more time to practice on a potters wheel. They may not necessarily need direct tuition to improve at their current point of their skill development. In this postition myself in Edinburgh some time ago I found it difficult to get wheel time at a good price. The only other option was to buy my own wheel and have it in my house.  As much as we enjoy being in a studio, do we want to life in one full time?

The open studio enables you to use studio as if it were your own. Without the space required at your home and cost of the wheel.
